Der Fall Skripal
Toxicology Experts on Amesbury Incident: Toxin Could Hardly Last Since Salisbury
MOSCOW (Sputnik) - The toxicology experts in their comments to Sputnik doubted that the nerve agent could persist in the environment since the March 4 incident with the Skripals in Salisbury to affect two more people in Amesbury four months later, causing death of one of the victims.

On Monday, UK Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson accused Russia of carrying out the poisoning attack in Amesbury. In turn, the Russian Foreign Ministry dismissed the accusations as "good old mantra" and urged the UK authorities to carry out a comprehensive investigation.
On July 4, the UK police reported about an incident in Amesbury, Wiltshire, where two people were exposed to an unknown substance and were hospitalized in critical condition. Shortly after, the UK police announced that the couple, Dawn Sturgess and Charlie Rowley, were believed to have handled an item allegedly contaminated with the same military-grade nerve agent which was allegedly used in the recent attack on former Russian double agent Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury, located several miles from Amesbury.....
The Holes in the Official Skripal Story
12 Jul, 2018  in Uncategorized by craig

In my last post I set out the official Government account of the events in the Skripal Case. Here I examine the credibility of this story. Next week I shall look at alternative explanations.
Russia has a decade long secret programme of producing and stockpiling novichok nerve agents. It also has been training agents in secret assassination techniques, and British intelligence has a copy of the Russian training manual, which includes instruction on painting nerve agent on doorknobs.
The only backing for this statement by Boris Johnson is alleged “intelligence”, and unfortunately the “intelligence” about Russia’s secret novichok programme comes from exactly the same people who brought you the intelligence about Saddam Hussein’s WMD programme, proven liars. Furthermore, the question arises why Britain has been sitting on this intelligence for a decade and doing nothing about it, including not telling the OPCW inspectors who certified Russia’s chemical weapons stocks as dismantled.
If Russia really has a professional novichok assassin training programme, why was the assassination so badly botched? Surely in a decade of development they would have discovered that the alleged method of gel on doorknob did not work? And where is the training manual which Boris Johnson claimed to possess? Having told the world – including Russia -the UK has it, what is stopping the UK from producing it, with marks that could identify the specific copy erased?.......

UK police claim to have found bottle containing 'Novichok' nerve agent in Amesbury victim’s house
UK police say they have found the source of the nerve agent that allegedly poisoned two people in Amesbury, killing one. They claim the source appears to be a small bottle discovered on of the victim’s homes.

The bottle was apparently found in Charlie Rowley's house in Amesbury on Wednesday. "Scientists have now confirmed to us that the substance contained within the bottle is Novichok," a Friday statement by police said.
Rowley, 45, and his girlfriend Dawn Sturgess, 44, took ill on June 30, with what British police later said was nerve agent poisoning caused by Novichok, citing researchers at the nearby Porton Down chemical lab. Both were admitted to the Salisbury hospital in critical condition.
Sturgess died a week later, while Rowley’s condition improved. By Wednesday this week he was no longer critical, medics said.....

UK Police Says Found Source of Deadly Substance Used in Amesbury Incident
The Metropolitan Police said Friday that it had found a small bottle, containing Novichok nerve agent, in the house of one of the Amesbury incident victims.

"On Wednesday, 11 July, a small bottle was recovered during searches of Charlie Rowley's house in Amesbury," police said in a statement. "Scientists have now confirmed to us that the substance contained within the bottle is Novichok."
The police further said that it would take necessary tests to establish whether Novichok found in Rowley's house was from the same batch that was used in the Skripals case......

- the next discovery will be mr rowley is a porton down employee

Or UK secret services has brought this bottle themselves in the house.......If not, how it could be that such a bottle was in the hands of this victim ? Perhaps the police will try to explain that a russian agent first used the bottle to poison Skripal, and then gave the bottle to Rowley ? Or the this agent threw the bottle in a public bin, then found by Rowley ? Very professionnal ! In each case, be prepared for a very coherent, compatible and realistic explanation.....and even certainly ridiculous....

Soon this couple will be announced as deep undercover agents of SVR or GRU who were placed to monitor the Skripals and then take them out.

(ich nehm den letzten!)

50 shades of #Novichok
After claiming that "Novichok made *only* in Russia", now investigation has to find "pollen from a plant which grows *only* in Russia"

Matthew Rowley, brother of Charlie Rowley the surviving victim of the Novichok poisoning that happened close to two weeks ago speaks to BBC News about the container of the nerve agent which appears to have been a perfume bottle. Metropolitan Police refuse to confirm the claim only stating that the nerve agent was discovered inside a “small bottle.”

On June 30th, Dawn Sturgess was admitted into Hospital after falling ill at home in Amesbury. She passed away on July 8th. One of the last things she did was buy a bottle of alcohol, revealed by CCTV footage. Her partner, Charlie Rowley, was left severely ill.
Investigators believe that the poisoning is linked to the Novichok  attack of former Russian Spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury, earlier in March this year.
One of the possibilities is that the culprit was discarding a container filled with Novichok and months later Dawn and Charlie picked up unknowingly months later.
The discovery of the perfume bottle containing the nerve agent will allow the Porton Down defence laboratory to test if the substance is from the same batch used to poison Skripal and his daughter.
Experts from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons were called in to assist and the tests in the Porton Down laboratory concluded that the substance is, in fact, Novichok.
The investigators have seized hundreds of items, and most recently four vehicles in Salisbury and Swindon. Assistant Commissioner Neil Basu, the head of UK counterterror policing describes the search as “one of the most complex and difficult that UK policing has ever faced”. He adds that “the work being carried out is extremely important. Not only are we trying to solve an extremely serious crime that has been committed, but we’re also working to identify any potential outstanding risks to the public; all whilst ensuring that all those involved in the search process are not themselves exposed to any risk of contamination.”.....
