Die Leser meines Blogs wissen vielleicht, dass ich in der recht hübschen Stadt Salisbury lebe – eine Stadt, die bis letzte Woche wegen ihrer wundervollen gotischen Kathedrale aus dem 13. Jahrhundert bekannt war, und wegen dem 8km entfernten berühmtesten Steinhaufen der Welt. Aber leider ist sie jetzt ein Synonym für internationale Spionage und für etwas, das wie ein Mordversuch mit irgendeinem Nervengift aussieht.
 
Ich habe mich aus einem ganz einfachen Grund geweigert, diese Sache zu kommentieren: Ich habe nicht die Fakten zur Verfügung, die mir einen detaillierten Kommentar über diesen Zwischenfall erlauben. Ja, ich halte mir alle Überlegungen über die möglichen Verdächtigen und ihre Motive offen.
 
Was ich jedoch kommentieren möchte, das ist etwas, das man nur als die irrationale, hysterische und offen propagandistische Reaktion der britischen Medien und der Regierung bezeichnen kann. Nur Stunden nach dem Zwischenfall, bevor ihnen irgendwelche Fakten bekannt sein konnten, sind viele dahergekommen und haben vorbehaltlos oder ausdrücklich mit dem Finger auf den Kreml und Wladimir Putin gedeutet, sie hätten den Mordanschlag angeordnet.
 
Es sollte eigentlich eine enorm komplizierte Untersuchung sein und die Behörden haben noch nicht bestimmen können, wo, wann und wie des Gift verabreicht wurde. Aber heute, nach nur eine Woche, ist Theresa May, die britische Premierministerin, vor das Parlament getreten, um den Vorfall einem souveränen Staat in die Schuhe zu schieben. Damit hat sie die Beweislast auf die russische Regierung übertragen und ihr 36 Stunden gegeben, um wirksam ihre Unschuld zu beweisen, oder man wird sie für schuldig erklären.
 
Ich bin zutiefst beschämt über die Regierung meines Landes und das ganze Parlament (nicht zum ersten und wahrscheinlich nicht zum letzten Mal). Ob jetzt Herr Putin hinter dem Anschlag steckt oder nicht, so geht ein Rechtsstaat einfach nicht vor. Die irre Geschwindigkeit, mit der auf jemanden gezeigt wurde, mit der Anschuldigungen gemacht und Drohungen ausgestoßen wurden, bevor irgendwelche Fakten dazu kommen, wo, wann und wie das Gift verabreicht wurde, geschweige denn wer es verabreichte, das zeigt, dass wir als Land näher an einer Art von Staat sind wie wir es Herrn Putin vorwerfen, näher als wir uns vorstellen können.
 
Nach allem was ich weiß, könnte Herr Putin diesen Anschlag persönlich angeordnet haben. Obwohl ich sagen muss, dass ich schwerlich ein Motiv finde, warum er einen Mann zu ermorden versucht, den seine Regierung vor acht Jahren begnadigt hat, und das auf so stümperhafte Art, dass es rund um die Welt massenhaft Aufmerksamkeit erregt – außer natürlich, dass es jetzt seine Politik ist, sein Land absichtlich in einen internationalen Schurkenstaat zu verwandeln. Ich habe jedoch keine Ahnung wie man Schlussfolgerungen ziehen kann, wenn die Untersuchungen noch gar nicht richtig begonnen haben. Zuerst die Untersuchung, dann die Schlussfolgerung – und nicht umgekehrt, meine Lieben!
 
Lasst mich den großen Sherlock Holmes zitieren, um etwas Vernunft in diesen irrationalen Irrsinn zu bringen, den wir derzeit erleben:
 
„Es ist ein großer Fehler, zu theoretisieren, bevor man Daten hat. Unmerklich beginnt man Fakten zu verdrehen, damit sie den Theorien entsprechen, anstatt dass Theorien den Tatsachen entsprechen.“
 
Man möchte meinen, dass das Land von Sir Arthur Conan Doyle das instinktiv verstehen würde. Leider nicht. Stattdessen hat Boris Johnson innerhalb von Stunden, die Abwesenheit von Daten hat diesen aufgeblasenen Wichtigtuer nicht aufgehalten, vor dem Parlament schon mit dem Finger auf den Schuldigen gedeutet. Und es hat auch nicht den Verteidigungsminister Gavin Williamson und andere aufgehalten, das selbe zu tun. Die Medien waren schamlos. Sanktionen wurden angedroht. England könnte sich aus der Weltmeisterschaft zurückziehen.
 
Hier ein paar Fragen, die die „Gesetz“-Geber beantworten sollten: Wie soll jetzt eigentlich noch im Entferntesten die Möglichkeit bestehen, eine faire Untersuchung durchzuführen, geschweige denn eine freie und faire Verhandlung, wenn ihr schon öffentlich erklärt habt, wer dahinter steckt? Habt ihr diese Möglichkeit nicht für immer zerstört? Kümmert euch das?
 
Ich kann gar nicht sagen wie traurig mich dieses Verhalten macht. Ich möchte gerne Gewissheit haben, dass eine faire Untersuchung stattfindet. Ich will die Beweise in einer öffentlichen Verhandlung sehen, dass die Beschuldigten und ihre Anwälte Zugang zu den Beweisen haben. Ich will über jeden berechtigte Zweifel Vertrauen in das Urteil des Gerichts haben. Jeder, der sich für diesen Fall interessiert, sollte das wollen. Es nennt sich Wahrheit und es nennt sich Gerechtigkeit. Vergilbte, alte Vorstellungen, ich weiß. Aber wie soll eine vernünftige Person jetzt noch Vertrauen in die Untersuchung und deren Auswirkungen haben, wenn unsere Regierung schon den Schuldigen benannt und Strafen angedroht hat, bevor die Ermittler auch nur über die grundlegendsten Beweisstücke Sicherheit haben?
 
Gemäß Mrs Mays Stellungnahme ist das einzige entdeckte Beweisstück derzeit, dass der Giftstoff Novichok war, das ist ein Nervengift, das in den 1970ern und 1980ern in der UdSSR entwickelt wurde. Verzeiht mir, wenn ich über diese Behauptung etwas skeptisch bin. Gemäß vielen Berichten ist Novichok acht Mal giftiger als dass Nervengas VX. Und trotzdem leben Mr Skripal und seine Tochter noch. Novichok ist offensichtlich acht Mal giftiger als das Nervengas VX. Und trotz der Tatsache, dass die Behörden behaupten, man hätte Spuren davon im Restaurant Zizzi und im Mill Pub gefunden, ist Detective Sergeant Nick Baley der Einzige, der ernsthaft erkrankt ist. Novichok ist offensichtlich acht Mal so giftig wie Nervengas, aber die Behörden raten den Menschen, die in dem Pub oder dem Restaurant waren, „persönliche Gegenstände wie Handys, Handtaschen und andere elektronische Geräte mit Reinigungs- oder Babytüchern abzuwischen und die Tücher in den Mülleimer zu werfen (den gewöhnlichen heimischen Mülleimer)“. Dass tödliche Nervengift Novichok, das acht Mal so giftig ist wie VX, kann man also mit Babytüchern bekämpfen? Da stimmt doch etwas nicht, oder?
 
Aber sagen wir mal, es könnte so sein. Angenommen es war Novichok. Und? Beweist das, dass „die Russen haben's getan“? Nur, wenn der Gebrauch von VX Nervengas irgendwo auf der Welt beweisen würde, dass es „die Briten waren“, denn VX wurde in Porton Down (Anm.d.Ü.: das Biowaffen-Labor des britischen Militärs) entwickelt, das nicht weit von Salisbury entfernt liegt. Aber das zählt nicht, nicht wahr?
 
Ach ja, und dann ist da die Tatsache, dass Novichok vom Soviet State Scientific Research Institute for Organic Chemistry and Technologyin Nukus, Usbekistan produziert wurde. Laut Wikipedia:
 
„Seit seiner Unabhängigkeit 1991 hat Usbekistan mit der Regierung der Vereinigten Staaten zusammengearbeitet, um die Stätten abzubauen und zu entgiften, in denen Novichok und andere chemische Waffen getestet und entwickelt wurden.“
 
Ich kann mir vorstellen, dass die Vereinigten Staaten wissen wie man Novichok produziert und ich wäre überrascht, wenn die Kumpels in Porton Down davon nichts wüssten.
 
Von allem anderen abgesehen will uns die britische Regierung glauben machen, dass der russische Staat gerade versucht hat, ein oder gar zwei Menschen zu vergiften und dabei eine Substanz gewählt hat, von der man wusste, dass sie deswegen beschuldigt würde. Wie gesagt, das ist möglich, aber es grenzt an Irrsinn, oder?
 
Versteht mich nicht falsch, ich gebe in keinster Weise einen Kommentar dazu ab, ob die Schlussfolgerung der britischen Regierung letztendlich richtig oder falsch ist. Ich habe keine Ahnung. Ich möchte nur sagen, dass, falls der einzige präsentierte Beweis für ihre Schlussfolgerung der ist, dass Novichok verwendet wurde, sie zum gegenwärtigen Zeitpunkt nicht im entferntesten die Art von Beweis besitzen, die ihnen ihre bereits erreichte Schlussfolgerung erlaubt. So einfach ist das.
 
Wie sieht's mit anderen Verdächtigen und Motiven aus? Gibt es welche? Natürlich gibt es die. Herr Skripal wurde Mitte der 1990er von einem MI6-Agenten angeworben, den die britische Presse nicht nennen möchte, den die amerikanischen Medien jedoch identifiziert haben.https://edition.cnn.com/2018/03/08/world/sergei-skripal-spy-war/index.html
 
Darüber hinaus lebt dieser Agent ebenfalls in Salisbury und hat sich, so zahlreiche Presseberichte, regelmäßig mit Skripal in einem Restaurant der Stadt getroffen.
 
Der Telegraph berichtet, dass dieser Agent für Orbis Business Intelligence Ltd arbeitete. Interessant, nicht wahr? Und wenn ich euch sage, dass Orbis Business Intelligence Ltd zufällig die Organisation ist, in der Christopher Steele den Vorsitz hatte, der Autor des berüchtigten „Trump Dossiers“? Mit anderen Worten: Skripals MI6-Agent und Betreuer, der in der selben Stadt lebte und sich regelmäßig mit ihm traf, arbeitete für jenen Mann, der für das Dokument verantwortlich war, das der Hauptgrund für die ganzen Verschwörungsvorwürfe zu Trump/Russland ist. Das beweist natürlich keine direkte Verbindung zwischen Mr Steele und Mr Skripal und unterstellt auch nicht, dass die Vergiftung von Mr Skripal damit zusammenhängt. Aber das ist mit Sicherheit eine extrem interessante mögliche Verbindung, die in einer freien und fairen Untersuchung betrachtet würde.
 
Aber leider hat die britische Regierung so etwas unmöglich gemacht, mit möglicherweise horrenden Folgen.

U.S. and Uzbeks Agree on Chemical Arms Plant Cleanup

The United States and Uzbekistan have quietly negotiated and are expected to sign a bilateral agreement today to provide American aid in dismantling and decontaminating one of the former Soviet Union's largest chemical weapons testing facilities, according to Defense Department and Uzbek officials.
Earlier this year, the Pentagon informed Congress that it intends to spend up to $6 million under its Cooperative Threat Reduction program to demilitarize the so-called Chemical Research Institute, in Nukus, Uzbekistan. Soviet defectors and American officials say the Nukus plant was the major research and testing site for a new class of secret, highly lethal chemical weapons called ''Novichok,'' which in Russian means ''new guy.''
The agreement to help Uzbekistan clean up the plant is part of wide-ranging cooperation between Tashkent and Washington since the former Soviet republic of Uzbekistan became independent in 1991. Yesterday, American and Uzbek officials opened a series of meetings in Tashkent, the Uzbek capital.
Uzbek officials said in interviews earlier this year that, only after their country became independent, did they come to understand the legacy of pollution that had resulted from their designated role as the Soviet Union's major testing ground for chemical and biological weapons. ''We were shocked when we first learned the real picture,'' said Isan M. Mustafoev, the Deputy Foreign Minister, in an interview in Tashkent last March.
Alarmed by the health and environmental impact of the Soviets' use of Uzbekistan for the production and large-scale testing of illegal chemical and germ weapons, President Islam A. Karimov renounced weapons of mass destruction. Since then, his Government has worked closely with American defense officials, granting them access to sites whose counterparts in Russia are still off limits.

The Chemical Research Institute, which is in a closed military complex in Nukus in the semi-autonomous republic of Karakalpakstan, is a case in point. Uzbek officials said they were still uncertain what kind of chemical agents, or how many, were made and tested here and elsewhere on Uzbek soil.
Russia has refused to disclose the information, Uzbek officials complain, and some international arms inspectors have said there is no proof that the Nukus plant was used to produce chemical weapons, now banned.
After touring the plant last year, inspectors from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, the Hague-based agency that oversees the 1993 treaty banning chemical weapons, concluded that the institute may have tested weapons but was not a production site.
Mr. Mustafoev, the Deputy Foreign Minister, scoffed at the finding, arguing there is plenty of evidence of such work at the lab that the Soviets built in 1986, closed to all but the Russian scientists who worked there, and abandoned only in 1992. American officials agreed, noting that a senior defector from the Soviet chemical weapons program, Vil S. Mirzayanov, who worked for more than 25 years in the Soviet chemical weapons program, has told them and later said publicly that the plant was built to produce batches, for testing, of Novichok binary weapons designed to escape detection by international inspectors.
Col. Islamov Abushair, the commander of the Uzbek military base in Nukus, highlighted what he called evidence of the secret Soviet chemical weapons program as he escorted this reporter recently on a rare tour of the plant, now closed. As the Soviet Union was crumbling, he explained, the more than 300 scientists at the plant packed up their deadly chemicals, their most sensitive equipment, manuals, and their test results and returned to their country.

Shards of brown glass laboratory bottles littered the plant's floors and the icy air of an early spring rushed through broken windows. In one room stood a large test chamber into which smaller animals were placed for testing.
Another room contained treadmills for dogs and dozens of testing harnesses, to cram dogs' muzzles into gas masks, leaving their bodies exposed. The device enabled scientists to expose either the dog's skin, or lungs, to lethal chemical agents, Uzbek and American experts said.
''This is the monstrous rubbish they left us,'' said Colonel Islamov, whose battalion of Uzbek soldiers now occupies the apartments in which elite Russian scientists and their families used to live.
Colonel Islamov and other Uzbek officials said their country lacked the money to decontaminate and convert the plant and stop the pollution caused by accidents, poor safety procedures and the disposal and dumping of chemical wastes and discarded weapons. A Pentagon official said yesterday that the United States would help Uzbekistan dismantle and decontaminate the complex ''to prohibit the proliferation of equipment from this pilot-scale production facility.''
Information is slowly emerging about hundreds of open-air chemical tests at the Nukus plant and on the neighboring Ustyurt Plateau in the Turgay steppe, an equally inhospitable desert several hundred miles west of the Aral sea, which Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan share.
Uzbek and American bio-warfare experts said that in 1988 thousands of antelope dropped dead on the plateau when the wind unexpectedly shifted during one of the chemical tests. Their carcasses are still buried in a pit on the range, they said.
The Soviet-run animal research institute in Tashkent, the capital, once produced snake and spider venom weapons for the K.G.B.'s assassination program, scientists said.
Abdusattor Abdukarimov, director of the Institute of Genetics and Plant Experimental Biology in Tashkent, now a civilian plant, said that in Soviet times it produced wheat pathogens and other microbes to attack plants.

Russian to Judgement

The same people who assured you that Saddam Hussein had WMD’s now assure you Russian “novochok” nerve agents are being wielded by Vladimir Putin to attack people on British soil. As with the Iraqi WMD dossier, it is essential to comb the evidence very finely. A vital missing word from Theresa May’s statement yesterday was “only”. She did not state that the nerve agent used was manufactured ONLY by Russia. She rather stated this group of nerve agents had been “developed by” Russia. Antibiotics were first developed by a Scotsman, but that is not evidence that all antibiotics are today administered by Scots.

The “novochok” group of nerve agents – a very loose term simply for a collection of new nerve agents the Soviet Union were developing fifty years ago – will almost certainly have been analysed and reproduced by Porton Down. That is entirely what Porton Down is there for. It used to make chemical and biological weapons as weapons, and today it still does make them in small quantities in order to research defences and antidotes. After the fall of the Soviet Union Russian chemists made a lot of information available on these nerve agents. And one country which has always manufactured very similar persistent nerve agents is Israel. This Foreign Policy magazine (a very establishment US publication) article on Israel‘s chemical and biological weapon capability is very interesting indeed. I will return to Israel later in this article.

Incidentally, novachok is not a specific substance but a class of new nerve agents. Sources agree they were designed to be persistent, and of an order of magnitude stronger than sarin or VX. That is rather hard to square with the fact that thankfully nobody has died and those possibly in contact just have to wash their clothes.

From Putin’s point of view, to assassinate Skripal now seems to have very little motivation. If the Russians have waited eight years to do this, they could have waited until after their World Cup. The Russians have never killed a swapped spy before. Just as diplomats, British and otherwise, are the most ardent upholders of the principle of diplomatic immunity, so security service personnel everywhere are the least likely to wish to destroy a system which can be a key aspect of their own personal security; quite literally spy swaps are their “Get Out of Jail Free” card. You don’t undermine that system – probably terminally – without very good reason.

It is worth noting that the “wicked” Russians gave Skripal a far lighter jail sentence than an American equivalent would have received. If a member of US Military Intelligence had sold, for cash to the Russians, the names of hundreds of US agents and officers operating abroad, the Americans would at the very least jail the person for life, and I strongly suspect would execute them. Skripal just received a jail sentence of 18 years, which is hard to square with the narrative of implacable vindictiveness against him. If the Russians had wanted to make an example, that was the time.

It is much more probable that the reason for this assassination attempt refers to something recent or current, than to spying twenty years ago. Were I the British police, I would inquire very closely into Orbis Intelligence.

There is no doubt that Skripal was feeding secrets to MI6 at the time that Christopher Steele was an MI6 officer in Moscow, and at the the time that Pablo Miller, another member of Orbis Intelligence, was also an MI6 officer in Russia and directly recruiting agents. It is widely reported on the web and in US media that it was Miller who first recruited Skripal. My own ex-MI6 sources tell me that is not quite true as Skripal was “walk-in”, but that Miller certainly was involved in running Skripal for a while. Sadly Pablo Miller’s LinkedIn profile has recently been deleted, but it is again widely alleged on the web that it showed him as a consultant for Orbis Intelligence and a consultant to the FCO and – wait for it – with an address in Salisbury. If anyone can recover than Linkedin entry do get in touch, though British Government agencies will have been active in the internet scrubbing.

It was of course Christopher Steele and Orbis Intelligence who produced for the Clinton camp the sensationalist dossier on Trump links with Russia – including the story of Trump paying to be urinated on by Russian prostitutes – that is a key part of the “Russiagate” affair gripping the US political classes. The extraordinary thing about this is that the Orbis dossier is obvious nonsense which anybody with a professional background can completely demolish, as I did here. Steele’s motive was, like Skriapin’s in selling his secrets, cash pure and simple. Steele is a charlatan who knocked up a series of allegations that are either wildly improbable, or would need a high level source access he could not possibly get in today’s Russia, or both. He told the Democrats what they wish to hear and his audience – who had and still have no motivation to look at it critically – paid him highly for it.

I do not know for certain that Pablo Miller helped knock together the Steele dossier on Trump, but it seems very probable given he also served for MI6 in Russia and was working for Orbis. And it seems to me even more probable that Sergei Skripal contributed to the Orbis Intelligence dossier on Trump. Steele and Miller cannot go into Russia and run sources any more, and never would have had access as good as their dossier claims, even in their MI6 days. The dossier was knocked up for huge wodges of cash from whatever they could cobble together. Who better to lend a little corroborative verisimilitude in these circumstances than their old source Skripal?

Skripal was at hand in the UK, and allegedly even close to Miller in Salisbury. He could add in the proper acronym for a Russian committee here or the name of a Russian official there, to make it seem like Steele was providing hard intelligence. Indeed, Skripal’s outdated knowledge might explain some of the dossier’s more glaring errors.

But the problem with double agents like Skripal, who give intelligence for money, is that they can easily become triple agents and you never know when a better offer is going to come along. When Steele produced his dodgy dossier, he had no idea it would ever become so prominent and subject to so much scrutiny. Steele is fortunate in that the US Establishment is strongly motivated not to scrutinise his work closely as their one aim is to “get” Trump. But with the stakes very high, having a very loose cannon as one of the dossier’s authors might be most inconvenient both for Orbis and for the Clinton camp.

If I was the police, I would look closely at Orbis Intelligence.....

Ja, es ist das lahme "cui-bono"- Argument ohne jeden Beweiswert. Aber derzeit hat hier niemand irgendwelche Fakten oder Beweise parat, es werden nur Anschuldigungen und wüste Spekulationen gehandelt. Da ist der Fakt, dass das Anti-Russische bestimmtenb Leuten nützt, fast schon felsenfest.

Das Vergiftungsopder Skripal arbeitete seit vielen Jahren mit dem MI6 Agenten Christopher Steele, der das „Trump Dossier“ mit den Golden Shower – Russland Nutten im Moskauer Hotel erfunden hat und damit Trump als erpressbar und somit ungeeignet für sein Amt darstellte. Skripal ist auch befreundet mit dem MI6 Agenten Miller, der in Tallin für die antirussische Spionage zuständig war.
Der Autor präsentiert die These, daß Skripal das neueste Opfer von Hillary Clinton werden hätte sollen, weil Skripal das „Trump Dossier“ gemeinsam mit Steele verfasst habe und eventuell ausplaudern könnte, daß das „Trump Dossier“ eine Erfindung war, um Trump auf dem Amt zu drängen.

Auch der Fall Skripal ist so offenkundig inszeniert, dass es einer erheblichen kriminellen Energie bedarf, die richtigen Fragen nicht zu stellen, um erst keine Zweifel an der hanebüchenen Geschichte aufkommen zu lassen. Allein mit Ignoranz und individueller Verblödung einer gleichgeschalteten Journaille ist die gezielte Desinformation auch in diesem Fall nicht zu erklären. Dass die westlichen Mainstreammedien – allen voran ARD und ZDF – diese kriminelle Energie, Verlogenheit und Skrupellosigkeit besitzen, beweisen sie jeden Tag aufs Neue.
Das Giftgas-Mem erinnert nicht zufällig an die Brunnenvergifter-Geschichten, mit denen Antisemiten über Jahrhunderte gegen Juden hetzten. Das Ziel ist, Angst und Furcht in der Bevölkerung zu verbreiten und den Feind als besonders hinterhältig und menschenverachtend zu dämonisieren. Dass dann die Nazis zu Giftgas griffen, um ihre Opfer zu vernichten, passt dabei nur allzu gut ins Bild, denn schon der Jugoslawienkrieg wurde von der NATO-Propaganda mit dem emotionalisierenden „Totschlag“-Argument des „Nie-wieder-Auschwitz“ vorbereitet.

In connection with the vicious attacks launched by British officials in London, as well as the statement by the head of the British delegation to the OPCW with regard to Russia concerning the suspicious story of two persons poisoned with a toxic agent in Salisbury, we would like to state the following.

The British authorities’ unfounded accusations of Russia’s alleged involvement in using poisonous agents on their territory are absolutely unacceptable. Our British colleagues should recall that Russia and the United Kingdom are members of the OPCW which is one of the most successful and effective disarmament and non-proliferation mechanisms. We call upon them to abandon the language of ultimatums and threats and return to the legal framework of the chemical convention, which makes it possible to resolve this kind of situation.

If London does have serious reasons to suspect Russia of violating the CWC - and the statement read by distinguished Ambassador Peter Wilson indicates directly that this is so - we suggest that Britain immediately avail itself of the procedures provided for by paragraph 2 of Article 9 of the CWC. They make it possible, on a bilateral basis, to officially contact us for clarifications regarding any issues that raise doubts or concerns.

We would also like to emphasise that such clarifications under the Convention are provided to the requesting member state as soon as possible, but in any case no later than 10 days following receipt of the request. As such, the ultimatum’s demand that information be provided immediately, by the end of today, is absolutely unacceptable.

Our British colleagues should save their propaganda fervour and slogans for their unenlightened domestic audience, where perhaps they will have some effect. Here, within the walls of a specialised international organisation, such as the OPCW, one must use facts and nothing but the facts. Stop fomenting hysteria, go ahead and officially formalise your request to begin consultations with us in order to clarify the situation. A fair warning, we will require material evidence of the alleged Russian trace in this high-profile case. Britain’s allegations that they have everything, and their world-famous scientists have irrefutable data, but they will not give us anything, will not be taken into account. For us, this will mean that London has nothing substantial to show, and all its loud accusations are nothing but fiction and another instance of the dirty information war being waged on Russia. Sooner or later, they will have to be held accountable for their lies.

In addition, in this particular case, it would be legitimate for the British side to seek assistance from the OPCW Technical Secretariat in conducting an independent laboratory analysis of the available samples that allegedly show traces of nerve agents in Salisbury.
